Hello, I’m having trouble exporting a file as html inside imageready/photoshop. I’m using simple rollover effects and imagemaps. For some reason when I goto export/save optimized it takes forever to export, to the point where i have to kill the process. It uses over a GIG of ram (page file) and then slowly moves down to like 300mb then only to move back up again. I know there must be something wrong. It takes absolutely forever and I have a fast computer (P4 2.6, 800FSB, 256MB PC400 RAM). I have exported successfully with other pages but its the same thing: uses over a gig of virtual memory and then finally finishes. I’m I doing something wrong with the rollovers?

Make sure your resolution isn’t too high. Is your file size too high? Have you optimized the slices so that you’re reducing the size? It’s probably a huge file and it’s bogging down your pc.

Or you have a lot of slices, or lots of rollovers, or ….
