Hi all

I have a problem:
I’d like to create an action that strokes a rounded rectangle selection. I would like to create a droplet so I can dump multiple images of differing sizes onto it so that I don’t have to create an action for each size of image I use, so a contrained size selection is a no-go.

Basically I’d like to have an action that:
1. Selects the entire image as a rounded rectangle selection
2. Inverses the selection and deletes the corners
3. Inverses again and strokes the selection to make a nice clean black border.
4. Leaves me with a nice, rounded, bordered image of any size

My problem is this: I can select the whole image but imageready refuses to selct the image with the rounded rectangle, it always uses the plain, cornered marquee box.

Any action gurus out there have any ideas? I’ve searched the forums but yea, all is to no avail!

Thanks

OK I solved this,

Select all
Contract selection (say 5px)
Smooth selection
Expand selection (by the amount you contracted – 5px)

and a hearty pat on the back goes to myself!
