PS 7.1 crashing after IE update

After I installed the "Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 6 SP1 (KB824145)" whenever I go file>open and start viewing thumbnails PS7 crashes.

In the Event viewer the error code is this:

Faulting application photoshop.exe, version 7.1.0.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.1217, fault address 0x00008dc5.

I’ve uninstalled the update and all is ok.

Any clue?

maybe If you bugged microsoft support as I did you’d see a response within 10 minutes as I got from them. They sure were nice to me hah!

Finding bugs sure gets microsofts attention!
