I have my Scratch disk set up like, the first on start up,which I am not sure of,the second on drive F.I have a a box that comes up that says,You currently have Adobe Photoshops primary Scratch and Windows primary paging file on the same volume, which can result in reduced performance. It is recommanded that you set Adobe Photoshops primary Scratch volume to be on a different volume, preferably on a different physcal drive.
My question is how do I do this? Thanks.

Set it to C instead of Startup. No harm will come if you do nothing. It is a confusing message for many folks, and is a "courtesy".

You will (often) get better performance if you set the primary scratch to a drive other than C, and set your secondary to C. That’s why they display the message, but some folks only have one drive and it displays that message anyway.

If you want more information on the scratch disk, do a search in the Knowledge Base.

Peace,
Tony
