I am now working with the Windows version of Photoshop 7. I just found some old Photoshop files created in version 2.5 & 3.0 on a Macintosh.

I am not able to open these files. I have ver 5.5 and ver 6 of Photoshop for Windows in my archives. Is there any way to open these old files in a newer version?

If they are not in some way irretrievably corrupted, these files should open with no problem in newer versions of Photoshop.

If you’d like me to see if I can work some magic, do this:

ZIP-compress one or more of the original PSD files. If you don’t ZIP ’em, I won’t download ’em. Upload to wherever you can. Place a link to it (or them) in this thread so I can download it.
