I was wondering if Adobe decided to remove the 3D Transform filter before releasing Photoshop CS. The reason I ask is because I’m working on a project right now, and I need to use that tool. Does anyone know what happened to it?

It’s on the install CD in one of the folders, but is not installed.

That is to say, it is not installed anymore when you install PSCS. You have to copy it off of the CD manually and into your plugins folder.

Thanks for pointing that out Hanford. It looks like my Photobars project has a bit more work to be done as the result of learning that.

3d Transform had some real potential … I guess this is a sign that it’s discontinued????

3d Transform always had serious problems. I have spent a long time setting up an accurate transform with it in the little tiny window, where it looked perfect, only to have it glitch out and apply the map incorrectly when the final render was done.

There is at least 1 pro tool to do "make sticky" effects like that for animation; I wish I remember the name of it. Anyone know, offhand?
