I used to have a Photoshop tutorial that was in PDF and had individual plug in sample starter photos as well.

I remember one of the series was a potato man on the beach.

It helped me get started in Photoshop and I miss it.

Can anyone help me locate once again? I am exhausted looking through the massive library. Thanks Kevin

Kevin…Classroom in a Book for Photoshop 4 had a Potato man selection exercise and also a man on the beach (who wasn’t a potato; wooden puppet)in a layers exercise. This book came out in 1997 and was the last one in color, I believe. I don’t recall a PDF.

Those are two separate chapters…Mr Potatoe Head teaches selection techniques and The StickMan at the Beach teaches scaling, re-positioning, erasing, etc.

Adobe supplies "CIB Photoshop LE" art files & pdf tutorials free. The zipped files were downloaded from:
