For Win version of PSCS (unknown if it affects macs), creating a file name with multiple periods causes an incorrect file name to be created.

To demonstrate: create a new file, name it "1", save as a .PSD.

Now, do "save as", and call it "1.1.1.1", as a .PSD.

Now try to open it…

The program is dropping the .PSD extension, so out in the folder, the file is named "1.1.1.1" instead of "1.1.1.1.psd". PSCS doesn’t recognize the file without the extension.

🙁

I suspect that if you have a dot in the file name the program is assuming you want the extension to be .1 for some reason.

I don’t know if it is a bug.
