PS 7.0 Failing To Complete Startup

Out of nowhere, PS7.0 will not start on my XP machine. Have been using on this PC for over a year, did some work this morning, all fine, came back to start application this P.M. and PS goes through the usual start up routing searching and connecting to devices, fonts, etc. then it just goes blank. I have made no changes to my OS or the PC in months. Have re-installed PS7.0 a couple of times, no help. All other software on PC is good as usual. HELP???????
