Using PS6 to create a text message for an ad. While I was thinking about the exact word I wanted to use I accidentally held down the right shift key for more than 8 seconds (is that all the longer a bull ride is?) and got a pop-up message that said something about smart keys. Well I didn’t want to change the way I was typing, so I selected cancel. Now it’s like my caps lock button has gone haywire. This does not seem to effect other programs. Any suggestions? It’s part of Windows — you’ll have to fix it on your system.

you can also turn it off by holding the right shift for 8 seconds. in your xp start menu select "Help and Support" then search for "filterkeys" for more details.
