Is there a way to get a color Precision (cross hairs)Cursor while using Greyscale mode in PS 7? I seem to remember having this feature in earlier versions and, now that I have a large number of black & white images to work with, it would come in handy.

Thanks,

In Prefs, set painting cursors to precise.
Nothing different about grayscale.

Joe,

You can’t change the colour of the curser (and Yes, it does disappear when over mid-tone greys!)

Workaround – convert to RGB and add a colour adjustment layer set to colourize which you can turn on and off as required.
