NO, but there is a freeware plugin available – do a searck for .ICO on the forum messages.

However, using a dedicated icon editor is a better approach….

You can create your file to the exact icon specification and save as a BMP. Then rename the file extension in Windows Explorer changing the BMP to ICO. I’ve done it successfully in the past. But there are specific programs designed for creating icons, MicroAngelo being one of the most popular.

ICO and BMP are different formats, although Windows sometimes pretends they are the same, which confuses a lot of people (and software). For example, a favicon.ico should be in true ICO format to work correctly in all browsers.
