I have Windows XP Home and Adobe Photoshop CS and on the Mac you can see the desktop thru the workspace in Photoshop, but in Windows you see a grayish area. How do I get rid of the gray and so that I see the desktop where ever there is not a window in Photoshop on my Windows XP version? Thanks.

You actually like that? You’ll need to buy a Mac.

Bob,

I agree. I don’t know if it was a worthless feature or just a mistake that stuck. It is almost as bad as people that use the video overlay feature to watch TV on their desktop background.

Alexander,

I am sorry you can’t do what you want. But why would you want to anyway? If you want to work, open Photoshop. If you want to look at pretty background pictures print them out and hang then on your wall, buy a second monitor or close everything and stare at your desktop wallpaper all day.

What I like in the Mac versions is that each image has the info bar… but I perfer having several mouse buttons, and be able to ALT+letters to navigate in the menus…

Pierre,

What is the "info bar"? Is it the same as the status bar? The status bar displays the info for the active image.
