Filter Gallery displays other filter previews?

Is the new Photoshop CS able to preview filters other then the ones it came with? That would be great feature for Photoshop CS. If so, can anyone point me to the right direction on how to achive this task.

If this has already been answered, my apologies, I couldn’t find it with the search, please direct me to that thread. Thanks in advance.

No, the Filter Gallery is only for the old Gallery Effects filters — it requires that the filters are written into it’s framework.

It cannot work with other filters, or with any third party filters.
