ok, latley I’ve been having this problem. I am running Photoshop 6 on Windows 98 and it’s been working perfectly fine for months. Now all of a sudden, when I go to use the hue/saturation option and it all messes up. As soon as click it, the menu dissapears and my icon becomes a dropper tool. I can still move it around but when I click on things my computer makes a bing noise and thats it. I then have to Ctrl + Alt + del to close the program. Everything else seems to be functioning properly as long as I don’t touch that. Only problem is I really need to use it. Any help is appreciated. TJ.

Your dialogue box is almost certainly off the screen.
Reset palette locations, or set your video display for the highest it will do to find dialogue and move it back into bounds.

Were you running two monitors for a while?

nope. no two monitors. And if what you mean by dialouge box I’m guessing is the thing where you can select "eraser" "clone stamp" all that kinda stuff, it’s not off the screen. It’s in it’s usual place on the side. It’s wierd. Like, I can still use brightness/contrast and all that stuff. any other ideas?

tj, as mac says, the hue sat "dialog" box is off screen. the box that contains the sliders.

See this faq: to fix it.
