Hi there,

I was having photoshop problems. So i followed the advice written on this forum about deleting the preferences file… and now a new message comes up after photoshop loads everything and then it just closes.

"Could not initialise the preferences file. Was invalid (it has been deleted)"

AHHH of course it has been delted but this was meant to solve everything. Also my preferences file in the setting folder is called plugincache.psp. Isn’t this weird in itself?

Anyway PLEASE HELP ME>>>>> I had reinstalled etc etc soo many times I am going crazy!\

Megha

do you have full control of the application data folder? (ie, are you an administrator on the machine)?

This is the missing personalization information problem I’m guessing, the reason for my guess is because I tried that too and it didn’t work, if it is i released a fix a few months ago for this, www.arpinnovations.com/psfix.htm that should work. If your problem was caused by something else well I’m not to sure about that one.
