I have been d/l tutorials for photoshop, and still can’t achieve what I’m trying to do. Can anyone tell me or post a link on how to take a head of an image and replace it w/ a different one(head)?

Your best bet would be to use the Work Path drawing tools to create a mask (trace an outline of the head) that you can use to cut the head from the background and apply it to the image that you want to replace the head with.

Lookup "Paths" in the Photoshop help files. That will tell you how to use them and should give you an understanding of what I am getting at. Also do a google search for PS tutorials on work paths.
