Hi Marion,
Yes, that one "easter egg" as such unadvertised or hidden functions are known, is still present in PS CS. If I remember correctly, I believe it is holding down CTRL+ALT while selecting About Photoshop that will give you the alternate splash screen that was used during development. Holding down shift will scroll the credits more quickly, and you’ll find a few comments among them that were added for fun, not to mention a tribute to the customer at the very end.

Daryl,
Thanks for the reply. I found the one you mentioned but was looking for others. Easter egg was the term I was looking for. Thanks. And yes I feel soo "special" looking at the end credit. 🙂
Marion
There used to be a Merlin easter egg in PS. If you press ctrl-alt and select palette options… in the layers palette he will appear. If you look a bit more closely at the image in the palette options… of the layers palette you will notice a similarity there 🙂 Check out the channels palette options too.
One of the most elaborate easter eggs I’ve ever seen was in one of the versions of Excel, where someone embedded a very basic sort of car driving game that was activated by a select sequence of actions. It left me to wonder how often a bug in an application might be induced by the presence of such an easter egg. But, what the heck…the developers need to have a little fun here and there.
