I’ve been using my Epson 2200, running on Windows 98 SE at first, and then XP for the past couple of months. A few days ago it started printing off color. B&W prints are a violet shade, and color prints are running slightly magenta in flesh tones, esp. I had made no changes in the profiles, but I can’t get it to print what I see on my monitor, even after using the Colorvision Spyder and Adobe Gamma. This is awful. Can anyuone help? A million thanks in advance. Cliff Moore

I had a similar problem for one day a few weeks back. I downloaded the newer driver for the Epson 2200 for XP (it comes compressed from www.epson.com as epson10700.exe) and flushed the inks. The next day, everything was back to good colour. (using PS, Adobe RGB for document, Epson2200Luster.icc or something like that for printer space, all colour mgt turned off in printer properties menu)

I had the same problem and I ran the head cleaning routine. Fixed the issue. I assume one head was clogged and it affected the colors of the picture.
