When I try to import a photo in a file to use in Photoshop, it only allows importing pdf files. My photos have all been saved as jpeg. How do I convert a saved jpeg to a pdf? Thanks for helping.

I think what you are trying to do is OPEN a jpeg file.

Use File/Open.

Hope this helps.

Not sure what you mean by importing. Are you trying to open an embedded file from a PDF document? If you’re having trouble just opening an image file, try "Open As" and specify the file you want to open and the file type you want to open it as.

I find it much more intuitive to open ACDSee in the thumbnail view and drag and drop my image files onto Photoshop (a shortcut or already open program) to open them. I keep ACDSee running on my second monitor all the time.

If you’re trying to open an embbedded image in a PDF document, you can’t copy the image out of Acrobat, but you can do a screen capture and open it in Photoshop. By default, the Print Screen button captures the desktop to the clipboard and by opening a new document in Photoshop, it will open at the captured screen resolution so all you have to do is crop the image out after pasting.
