Hi,
I have an image with 40+ layers and 250+ shapelayers. The layers and shapelayers are in multiple nested layer sets. As I am trying to select anchor points, I end up with another shapelayer selected. It doesn’t matter weather this shapelayer is above or below , hidden or visible , locked or unlocked. Is this just me? Does anyone have any ideas?, as this is really slowing my workflow.
Thanks,
Rob.

Most likely nobody else can reproduce the problem.

Are you clicking right on the shape? By any chance do you have "autoselect" turned on?

Thanks for the response,
It usually happens when I have a shapelayer selected and go to drag a box selection around several anchor points or a segment. Where is the "autoselect" for the path tools? I only know of the "auto select layer" option for the move tool, which is turned off.
Now after hiding all the layers, then showing just the ones I’m working on and flipping some of the tool options on and off, it seems to be behaving.
Rob.
