Major Bug in photoshop

hey, I’m not sure if it’s just a personal bug, but i have reinstalled many times to no avail. The grey apears to be green in photoshop, and until i save the file, it comes out is strange colors. I think the problem lies in Windows Xp service pack 1, and I hope one of you can help me with a solution.

Re-Run adobe gamma and re-create your monitor profile

I’m not saying it is service pack 1 but I removed sp1 shortly after installing it. It caused lots of problems on my computer. I TRY to remember the rule, if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it.

It should be in your control panel. And you need administrator rights to run it.

BTW, you shouldn’t be referring to this as a major bug. It’s not a bug at all. It’s a set up problem with your system.

OK, please direct me exactly where i can find it in the control panel, i dont see it anywhere. I have Windows XP Home SP1.

Further to Len’s comment, once you are in the Control Panel, you will need to switch to "classic mode" (see the sidebar on the left hand side of the Control Panel), to be able to see the Adobe Gamma icon.
