This is probably a really stupid question, but how do you draw a circle that only has a border of the current foreground color? All I seem to be able to do is draw completely filled-in circles!!
If this is the wrong group for this kind of question, please advise which one would be better.
Thanks!

Not many stupid questions here…

Create a circular selection with the elliptical marquee. If you hold down the shift key, a circle appears when you click-drag. If you hold down shift and alt, the circle expands from the center.

1. from the menu – Select/Modify/Border – then paint the result. or
2. from the tool bar at the bottom of the Paths palette, Make work path from selection,
Right click path ‘layer’, Stroke Path, choose tool to stroke with.

First of all, thanks for your reply!

While I am now waaaaay closer (than I have ever been) to actually drawing the outline of a circle instead of a filled one, I am still not able to completely do it from your instructions. Can you be more descriptive with the steps?

Thanks again!
