I am suffering through through the hell of the reversed Hebrew text with ps7.0 right now and am contemplating an upgrade. I know that Photoshop ME will handle the text properly, but did they by any chance incorporate this into CS? I called adobe and they had no idea.

You can type HEBREW in the English or Middle Eastern editions of Adobe PhotoShop.

* For English PhotoShop, use Hebrew fonts encoded for English programs, type Hebrew phonetically either backwards or using backspace.

(Disadvantage of this approach is if your dealing with multiple lines of Hebrew text, you have "left-to-right" line breaking).

* For Middle Eastern PhotoShop (ME), use standard Hebrew encoded fonts, type Hebrew using Hebrew keyboard from "right to left" and correct line breaking.

Very likely you are not dealing with extensive amount of Hebrew text, so using first solution is perhaps your best option, and you can continue using your English PhotoShop program -simply acquire Hebrew TrueType fonts encoded for use with English programs.
