What happened to the old features?

I forgot but in the old Photoshops their use to be a place where you would click Arrange – Send to back, front, etc. Now with CS I can not seem to find it anywhere … could someone help me?

This was also a feature of Pagemaker or Adobe Illustrator. It has never been in Photoshop. You can sort of do the same thing by dragging layers about. But as a bitmap program, you cannot order items that are on the same layer.

In both PS7 and PS CS, you can select any given layer and then use the Layer > Arrange submenu to send layers backward or forward in the deck. The Arrange menu is only active with multiple layers present.
