What version of those plugins? What version of Photoshop? Do you get error messages?

Version of photoshop 6.0, Version of plugins Autoeye 1.0, KPT 3 (5 and 6 installed fine) also Studio Pro 2.0 is also having the same problem!

Tried running install by clicking on install.exe etc hourglass will appear for about a 1 min then nothing-back to screen-no error messages-just won’t work. My CPU usage jumps to 100% because of some program that is trying to translate the 16 bit program (or at least hubby the computer guru tries to explain that to me!)

Anyway I had a perfectly good but slow computer running Windows 2000 Now I have a nice Dell running Windows XP that is about to become a paperweight if I can’t get my old stuff to work!

There’s actually nothing there that shouldn’t work.

1. Did you turn off anti-virus software?
2. Are you patched to 6.01?
3. Instead of allowing those installers to search for Photoshop, have you tried a manual install? I seem to remember the exe name being changed to photoshop.exe from photshop.exe. If the exe is indeed photoshop.exe, try changing the name to photshop.exe and then install.

You might also try copying the .exe files directly to your harddrive from the CD via Explore rather than install, and then try running it from there.
