I’m running PS 7 on a Win XP computer. I downloaded the 7.0.1 update, but when I try to install the error says "The Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1 Update program cannot find Adobe Photoshop 7.0 in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0 (where I installed it). I called Adobe, etc, they said they could not help. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop 7, but that did not work.

Any suggestions?

And I don’t know who you called – because Adobe can definitely help you reinstall the application, or replace an illegal copy….

You know, Chris, you guys should have just replaced that particular error message with a picture of a Jolly Roger flag instead (-;

Well, sometimes it really can’t find the install.

But yes, I think we would have been better served with a more useful warning message for pirates.
