We have a Photoshop 7.0 installed on a Citrix Metaframe platform (Windows 2000 server). Knowing well the limitations in working with Photoshop on a terminal server, we have found the most annoying point to be when using the marquee tool.
The reason is that when using the marquee tool its comprised of a lot of moving dots, and as the terminal server is sending a new image to the client each time there is a change, the server will try to send an image each time the marquee dots move…!
That means the client is very slow as long as the dots are moving, and thus very difficult working with.
Is there a way to make the dots static? Either through a setting or registry?
In advance, thank you!
