Photoshop Shutdown

When I double-click my Photoshop 7.0 it opens as usual, but after it gets through loading the settings the whole program shuts down, There are no errors or anything that pop up. I have reinstalled and restored, any suggestions?

Delete PSprefs (See FAQ)

The only way that I find to delete my preferences is to Open Photoshop and delete them from there, is there any other way?
