Hi,

Is it possible to change the colour of all the text in my image to yellow?

Some more info:
I changed the background image and now I think the text looks better in yellow. The problem is that the text is on multiple text layers. I use ps 7.0. I hope I am just overlooking some kind of ‘select all text’ function.

You will have to select the single layers and change one at a time.

No you won’t!

Select one of your text layers. Then link all the text layers to it in the layers palette. Then hold the Shift key down while clicking on the color swatch in the options bar. The color will only be previewed on the target layer, but will apply to all linked text layers when you click OK. This mechanism also works for font size, etc.

That works. Thanks a lot.

But now a question about linking. I have multiple text layers in a layer set. When I try to link the entire layer set (no other layers in this set) by clicking on the paperclip next to the layerset name, I get only light grey paperclips in front of the layers. And then the explained actions don’t work.

So can I link a layer set directly?

When you click on the lik for the layerset, you’re setting the link for all layers underneath that set, and can’t clear it individually. Turn the link on the layer set off and link in the individual layers if that’s what you’re after.
