Currently I use PS 7 at work and at home. I am thinking about CS, but think there is not much difference and not worth doing so. Could you folks give me some insight to this? Should I just stick with 7 or move up with CS? Thanks.

well only you can decide if the new features are worth the price. have you seen this?

for me, i went for it right away. shadow/highlights, text on a path, match color and custom keyboard shortcuts are my favs.

Dave’s such an easy sell ;-).

Yeah, there’s a heck of a lot in there. Shadow/Highlight is worth it all on it’s own. But I do have a soft spot for Type in/on a Path ;-).

Personally I only upgrade every other release and it works fine for me. I feel better only shucking out the $180 every other year and the new features are not usually necessary to keep up with production.
(that said, CS is the every other for me this time, I skipped 7 and will order CS soon)
