I am not sure what happened. The "Edit>Free Transform" and "Edit>Transform" selections have been replaced with the greyed out selections "Edit>Free Transform Paths" and "Edit>Transform Paths." My guess is that I accidentally changed some setting, but I can’t figure it out. I am using Photoshop 7.0.1 on a Windows XP system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

From the Photoshop Help file:

"If you are transforming a shape or entire path, the Transform command becomes the Transform Path command. If you are transforming multiple path segments (but not the entire path), the Transform command becomes the Transform Points command."

Sounds like you have the Paths option selected in the Options Bar – check the three icons in a group at the left hand side of the Options bar – if the middle one is selected, you are in Paths mode. (note you need to have the pen or shape tool selected.)
