jpg chrash bug

Whenever I save an image as a JPG, Photoshop completely hangs and I have to ctrl alt del. Saving a jpg by "saving for web" works fine for some reason.

Anyone having this problem, or better yet have a solve?

I’m using photoshop 7.0.1 on windows XP

Tony,

Your PS doesn’t hang but the jpg save options dialog is off screen for some reason (changed monitor type/ resolution).

When a dialog is up, nothing else is available, as you’ll probably know.

Resetting your pref’s indeed will default this back.

Yep, that was it. Thanks guys, I was using dual monitor a while back, that’s probably what sent the dialog off-screen.
