Hello everyone,

I am using Adobe Photoshop 5.5. Whenever I open an image, it’s in two colours, magenta and green. If I try to change the background and foreground colors to black and white, I only have various shades of magenta and green to choose from. I have tried reinstalling Photoshop to no avail. I used to have black and magenta. Now I have green and magenta. I am installing Photoshop off of a CD ROM. I also use other Adobe products on my machine like PDF, and PageMaker and they have no similar limited colour problem.

Have you ever encountered this problem? If you know anything about how this can be fixed, please let me know. I believe there’s nothing wrong with the CD-ROM, but something in my computer settings has been mixed up with regards to PhotoShop. One day I just opened up an image in Photoshop and got this magenta and black and couldn’t change it.
