Partially hidden images

In Photoshop CS, how can you stop images openning partially covered by the left hand tools pallette, please? Same problem occurs when you want "Fit to screen" – in this case, again, the edge of the image is hidden by the left hand tools pallette. I have looked in preferences but can’t see the relevant control. Grateful to know where it is. Thanks

No soon did I post the message than find the answer – Window/Workspaces/Reset Palette Locations seems to fix it.

In Photoshop CS, how can you stop images openning partially covered by the left hand tools pallette, please?

Move the palette a little closer to the edge of the screen. It’s not only a CS thing. All versions of Photoshop do that if the tool palette is placed too far from the edge.
