I’m working on Windows XP professional, with 512 RAM on a 1.59 GHz machine…with Photoshop 7.0. When I choose "Save for Web" it can take anywhere from a second or two up to two minutes to bring up ImageReady..
and it seems to switch randomly from saving "images only" to "images and HTML"… This doesn’t appear to be related to file size…

I have to perform this operation over and over all day, and spend a huge amount of time sitting waiting…

Any ideas??

Thanx.

Photoshop as well as XP use a lot of system resources. 512M of RAM is adequate, but lean for such a setup. Increasing RAM could significantly speed some operations up.
