Hey all, I just wondered if anyone could help me at all.

I have just got photoshop 7. This is the first time I have ever used this program. What I use the programe for is colouring line art drawings, as I am trying to learn computer colouring.

What I am trying to do is add a layer mask, in the channels section, which is on the toolbox with layers and paths, it usually appears on the bottom right of your computer screen when you open the program.

In order to do this I need the channels to be in RGB mode to do this, so there is more than channel to select eg – red, green and blue and RGB. My pictures are in the gray mode?? So when I select the channels there is only one channel – gray.

How do I change this to RGB?

many thanx

Lisa
