Seriously, I think the answer is F1. If pressing that key generates more questions than answers, then as an intermediate solution, you should create a separate layer and vary the opacity to suit. Even if the original question had nothing to do with PS, the layer thing should work for you.

Quale, I’ve tried that, but it comes up with an error regarding the color space in relation the the warnygog. Plus my F1 key has popped out. Any other suggestions?

Not to worry about the F1 key, mate. It’s easy enough to reassign short cuts and function keys. The color space problem can be remedied with the correct plug-in. Check the back ad sections of the magazines under warnygog.

See, that wasn’t hard!
