Hi all!

I had to make a design with a lot of text in it. Some text had to be bold, other text needed to have another color, etc…
I couldn’t find out how to do this in the same textfield, so I made several layers, a layer with green text, another with bold text, .. Isn’t there another way to achieve this in a simple way? I know that photoshop isn’t a texteditor, but maybe there are some tricks?

Thanx in advance!

Inge

Inge, all you have to do is double click on the text icon in the layers palette to make it editable select which text you want to change and change it. Then commit the text by clicking on the check mark or Ctrl + Enter or Enter key on the numeric pad.

Thank you for your help wes, but when I do so, all of the text changes to bold, not only the selected part, that’s why I used several layers. I use the dropdownbox at the top with options like crisp, sharp,…

Sorry Inge, I am using PsCs and maybe that is something new to that version. What version of PS are you using? I should have asked that question first.

Those are anti-aliasing methods and apply to the entire layer. The font family, font style, font size, and color apply to the current selection only.

Ok, I will use the font style instead, that works to a selection. Thank you for your help!
