Can anybody tell me if it’s possible to format type into columns and rows in PS, and if so what would be the best way?

Drag out distinct text boxes with the Type tool and align them side by side / top & bottom.

I’m sorry i meant formatting a paragraph in a text box into columns. I’ve kinda been able to by messing with the tracking and other stuff, but i wanted to see if there’s a button i could press that would do it automacticaly.

And even if you create 2 columns, the text wouldn’t "flow from one to the other… Indesign is what you need for that…

Illustrator will also do it, although it is only designed for single page jobs. ID is the tool for multi-page work.
