I’m sure I’ve seen this dealt with previously but can’t find any reference now, nor can I find anything through a web search or in the help files …

Why would you want to do that? And what would be your default setting?

Save as another file type.

Sadly this client needs jpgs. It would be a good time saver if I could just eliminate that step so it’s a shame I can’t. I have literally thousands of jpgs to make out of hundreds of scans.

Easy to make an action to do this, and then you can run this on an entire folder in batch mode.

Yes I do have an action that does it, but was just trying to avoid that extra step. Lazy me.

Maybe use save for web in your batch rather than save as? You won’t get the prompt then, and the client will get a smaller file.

You can of course use ‘Irfan view’ to batch save as jpeg and predetermine the compression ratio.
