Hi,

Since Indesign CS accepts native photoshop files, does any "print quality" advantage still remain in creating gradients and drop shadows directly in the page layout program (ID) versus creating in Photoshop CS and importing?

Thanks in advance,

Scott

i can’t imagine it would.

the layer effects are additionally calculated, in post, by either program. therefore, what is imported is not in fact the raster effect data, but the machine-language description of the effect’s attributes, which either program then uses to generate the effect in raster.
