Epson 2200 help

I am looking for a source for the Epson 2200 repair manual. It has started mis- feeding single weight sheets such as checks. I am having to eject a first blank sheet in order to get the second sheet to print. My printer went out of warranty about two weeks and Epson will no longer support it. Epson only exchanges in warranty printers and have no repair service. They refer me to area authorized repair shops who are either long out of business or have no experience or manuals for the 2200. The 2200 is a fine printer and I certainly don’t consider it a disposable product. Thank you for any advice.

If the authorized repair shops can’t get a repair manual for the Epson 2200 (which I seriously doubt) what makes you think you can?

Thanks for your helpful reply Burton. Epson provides their authorized repair stations with an online downloadable repair manual for this printer. They probably charge for it which might account for the fact some repair shops don’t have a manual. Perhaps somebody will see this that has actually been through the repair experience with Epson. jc

Thanks for the help Dave. I have tried to locate a service manual in the Epson site and also the sites Epson re-directs inquiries to without any success. If anyone has any additional suggestions as to obtain an Epson 2200 service manual please advise. Thanks jc
