Hi all,

I’m about to throw my computer out the window. I’m having a problem with photoshop 6 right now. Basically I have 2 images (one is a background and one is a logo) I’m trying to transfer the logo into the background so I can work on the image together. Thing is as soon as I go to new layer in the background it "cuts" part of the background image. Not like it cuts the full section so leaves a transparent bit but it deletes the last colour I put into that image and leaves me with the previous colours.

Help!

What tool are you using? Not quite understanding your question.

Get the Move tool (little cross upper left) and drag the logo to the other document. I’m not sure I know what you mean by "Cuts". Are you using the Paint Bucket perhaps, set to Clear?

I have no idea what you mean. Can you explain this a little more clearly? Please state, step by step, exactly what tools or commands you are using, and exactly what happens.

Thanks for the replies. I’ve sorted the problem out thanks to a friend. Seemingly I had more than one layer in my background image or something like that. Thanks again!
