Automated transition PDS to JEPEG format

I have severa files in PDS format and would like to created additional folders in JEPEG format. Because there are so many files, I would like to do that in batch/automation. Do you know how to do that? Thanks.

Create an action that saves your ( I assume you mean PSD) file to .jpg. Run a batch using that action and choose "Override action "Save As" commands".

Just in case: Why are you doing this? You do know that you are opening yourself to possible future image degradation by using JPEG instead of PSD?

Just wanted to make sure.
