Hi,

Can superscript be created with the Photoshop? For instance, in the text ‘a1’, I would like the ‘1’ appear as superscript. If possible, how to create? Please teach. Thanks.

Open your Character Palette (Window > Character). Using your Type Tool, select the text you wish to be superscripted, in this case, the "1". In your Character Palette, click inside the Baseline Shift field (bottom left) and use your up arrow key on your keyboard to nudge it up to where you want it to be.

Tada!

there is also a "superscript" option in the same menu with faux bold, faux italic, etc
(the little arrow in the top right of the "character" properties palette)

but this wouldnt give the same detail of control as peadge’s method —

Good one Michael. I should’ve mentioned that one first as it is much quicker and easier. Often, I tweak these things using my posted method, especially when changing the font size of the character(s) being super- or sub-scripted.

Thanks to both of you. Two ways to super or sub text.
