Connecting two paths? (Photshop 7)

In Photoshop I have two seperate splines that are on the same path layer that I wish to join (Just create the curve between the last/first vertex of them) how would I go about that? Seems like I am missing it in the help…

Just click on the end anchor point of one path with the pen and then click on the end anchor point of the other path….the paths will then be joined.
