Hi,

Is there a way to save an Internet movie trailer and put it into PSE 2 to capture a still image? Or, is this illegal?

Technically it’s illegal…but here’s how to do it (do not use for commercial purposes or that whole legality thing will, at some point, bite you):

Based on previous posts you are using a Mac correct?
Under system preferences->QuickTime enable "Save movies in disk cache." Find and watch movie. The do a system-wide serach for ".mov" Open in movie editor. Find frame. Screen capture or save out desired frame. Open screen capture in PSE. But for even better results invest in QuickTime Pro ($30): it allows you to save the movie after it fully loads…and it allows you to save out the frames in different formats.
