Yeah, I get that too with my pen and my 256Mbs. Are you working with large files? I get the delay with 30Mb+ files.

I don’t know. Maybe you’ve got your system loaded with some apps that run in the background. If you’ve got Norton AntiVirus, disable the shield while running Photoshop. I’m using AntiVir, a very reliable (German) software. So far it hasn’t let me down. Other than that, get more RAM. I’d follow my own advice, but I don’t really use the pen (it’s a crappy Genius anyway), so I don’t need the upgrade for some time. Also, I’ve never worked with files larger than 500kb and smaller than 30Mb, so I can’t say what’s the treshold for pen performance at 256Mb RAM. (I consider 7Mb to be large enough, tho.)
