I did a archive/reinstall on my G4 with OSX. Since then I can not open a file by dragging it onto the Photoshop icon in the dock. This function works with other programs. Any suggestions on how to get this working with PS again?

TIA

Did you repair permissions before and after installation? That’s supposed to be the right way to do it.

I have the same problem – google searching for a solution so far hasn’t helped. I was wondering if you solved it yet, would be curious as to what worked.

No. I have repaired permissions and that didn’t help. I’m thinking of reinstalling PS but I hate to do that and lose all my settings.

I got this from another newsgroup. It worked like a charm for me.

you’re missing this file:

HD:Library:ScriptingAdditions:Adobe Unit Types

find it and put it back, then restart photoshop

Good luck
